Stack. Swap. Sparkle.
Neon loom bands, designed and made in Primrose Hill by Ruby, aged 5. Message us to order for Christmas. Every band sends art supplies to her school's twin in Africa.
three things, made properly
Ruby makes three things well rather than nine things adequately. Anything else, just ask.
why ruby started this
Ruby's school in Camden is twinned with a school in Africa. Last term her class heard that the school does not always have pencils, and often can't do arts and crafts.
Ruby, who draws every single day and has been known to negotiate over stickers and glitter access, decided that wasn't fair.
Her first plan was to post her own pencils. We explained about postage. Her second plan was better: make something, sell it, send the money.
So that became the plan. Make loom bands. Sell loom bands. Buy pencils.
£3 from every band goes to our twin school
Not "a portion of proceeds". Not "helping to support". A specific amount, sent to a specific school, spent on specific things ... pencils, paper, paint, scissors, glue.
The rest buys beads, bags and stamps so we can make more.
We publish what we've sent and what it bought. It's on the About page and it gets updated every time a parcel goes out.
want something else?
Rings, necklaces, matching sets, party bags, whole-class orders ... message us and we'll tell you what's possible.
Whole-class orders start at 20 bands at £2.50 each; a class of 30 sends £45 to our twin school.
Pre-order by 8 December for Christmas
Ruby designs and makes every band by hand, so the earlier you order, the calmer everyone is.
